Rosport: Tudor Museum
Rosport: Tudor Museum
Directions
We cycle down the hill from the Tudor Museum in Rosport to the Sauer and turn right onto the national cycle route (PC) 3, following it to the village of Hinkel. From there, the route goes uphill to Girst and then to the idyllic Girsterklaus chapel. Via Dickweiler and Boursdorf, it goes back down into the Sauer valley, where we turn right again onto the PC3 towards Moersdorf in Born. In Moersdorf, the route climbs the slope again and runs over the plateau through the villages of Mompach, Herborn and Osweiler and then down to Lake Echternach. Alongside the lake and past the youth hostel, it then joins the national cycle route (PC) 2, which leads through the medieval town of Echternach. In Echternach, the route runs along the Sauer river again turning right onto the PC3 up to Steinheim. In Steinheim, it climbs the hill for the last time and follows the upper Sauer valley until the path reaches the Tudor Museum in Rosport again.
